We are a Costa Rica family hostel surrounded by lush tropical nature, with monkeys and toucans in our jungle garden, next to the beautiful Uvita waterfall, and finally with some ocean view, too.

We, that’s Julie, Stephan and our daughter Luzie, are a family from Berlin, Germany!
We’ve travelled a lot, always as backpackers, looking for good places, good hostels, a special atmosphere…
Through a friend we got the opportunity to run our first hostel in Nosara and reopened Almost Paradise in mid November 2010.
Now we are back in Costa Rica after travelling the world and giving birth to Luzie in Thailand in March 2012.
We are very, very happy to have found Patricio and his Cascade Verde and hope to be as successful as we were in Nosara: bringing people together – from all over the world – and to share this wonderful place in this beautiful surrounding area with you.
